The “Frenglish” name says it all! This cowl is a like a playground of speedy garter stitch with a variety of colorful stripes and embellishments to entertain the knitter and the eye. The beautiful TréLiz yarn and the striking but simple brioche border add a bit of French flair. No doubt you’ll be very amusée!

3 skeins of TréLiz Gaia Aran (85% merino, 15% acrylic; 166m/182y per 100g) or any other aran weight yarn which gives you the correct gauge.
Shown in colorways: Star Wars (MC, 2 skeins) and Pollock (CC, 1 skein).
Needles
5.0mm/US #8 circular needle (80 cm/32” long).
5.0mm (H) crochet hook.
Other
3 stitch markers, 1 interlocking stitch marker, spare needle or cable needle, tapestry needle for weaving, blocking pins.
Gauge
16 sts and 34 rows = 10 cm/4” in Garter stitch worked flat (after wet blocking).
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.
