This simple is worked seamlessly in the round. It starts with 2x2 Rib then is worked in simple checkered pattern of knit and purl stitches.

Needles
5.0 mm / US #8 circular needle 40 cm/16” long and/or dpns (or preferred needles for decreasing circumference), or appropriate size to get gauge,
4.5 mm / US #7 circular needle 40 cm/16” long or dpns, or one size smaller than gauge needles.

1 stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving.
Gauge
16 sts and 24 rnds in 10 cm / 4” in St st worked in the rnd with needle 5.0 mm / US #8, after washing. Take time to save time and check your gauge. Adjust needle size if necessary.
