Goldilocks is a seamless dress or tunic knit from the top down, with mock cables on the front and bottom hem. The design uses contiguous method of shaping set-in sleeves developed by Susie M.

The design is equally suitable for wool and cotton yarns or their blends. However, when you decide to use cotton pick a smaller size than you’d normally choose.

Sizes
Sizes: 9 (12, 18) months 2, 3, 4{5-6, 7-8, 9-10} years.
To fit chest: 46 (48.5, 50.5)53, 56, 58.5{62, 66, 68.5}cm / 18 (19, 20)21, 22, 23{24.5,26, 27}“.
The dress has about 1.25 cm/0.5 inch of positive ease around chest.
 
Needles
3.25 mm / US #3 circular needle (60 cm / 24” long) and #3 dpns.
3.5 mm / US #4 circular needle (60 cm / 24” long) and #4 dpns.
 
Other
4 stitch markers, 2 small buttons (approx. 1cm / 0.5” in diameter), cable needle or one dpn, tapestry needle for weaving, stitch holders / scrap yarn.
 
Gauge
26 sts and 36 rows in 10 cm / 4” in St st worked flat with larger needles.
Take time to save time, check your gauge. If necessary, adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge.
